Film and TV Health and Safety Unit Personnel for Los Angeles, CA 90077
Medical Placement Association (MPA) is looking to hire Health Safety Supervisors / COVID-19 Compliance Officers for an undisclosed client immediately. Qualified candidates should be an experienced Paramedic (National Registry).
Preferred candidates should be flexible, confident, professional and have discretion. They should be able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Teammates will be expected to work 10-12 hours/day 5 days per week. The schedule will be dictated by the production schedule and may include nontraditional working hours, including overnight.
Training for this position will be provided virtually by a qualified physician prior to placement. Teammates will be compensated for training. Interested candidates without CIC certification may be eligible for additional training.
PPE as well as medical and testing supplies will be provided.
Immediate placements will be made for early September start date.
Basic Qualifications:
•Good oral and written communication skills; ability to communicate complex information simply and succinctly.
•Proven strong organizational skills including logistics, time management and scheduling.
•Proven leadership experience in healthcare and/or public health.
•Must be a people person who can manage with confidence, maintain policy/protocol with cast and crew, and operate with authority when needed.
•Comfortable speaking to groups and educating teams.
•Experience in sensitive environments that require discretion.
•Highly creative and driven to problem solve.
•Willingness to travel and keep a flexible schedule.
•Ability to adapt quickly to changing work environments.
•Strong, pro-active work ethic
•Ability to work as part of a team
Technical Qualifications:
•Infection Prevention/Epidemiology knowledge and training.
•Certified in Infection Control preferred.
•Clinical training and experience such as, nurse, EMT preferred
Film and/or television production set Experience preferred.
•Proficiency with Microsoft Office software: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
•Familiar with and able to implement CDC, WHO and OSHA guidelines.
