Job Overview
A Site Supervisor is responsible for managing all guard operations at the complex to which he/she is assigned. This includes ensuring that guard posts are staffed and guards have been trained, equipped, and vetted in accordance with the contract prior to beginning work, and monitoring performance of the guard force to ensure that contract objectives are being met.
Responsibilities
1. The SS is required to attend the Guard Force training course, as required by the contract.
2. The SS is required to attend the Supervisor training course, as required by the contract.
3. The SS shall maintain weapons qualification on all weapons being utilized by the guards.
4. The SS vetted personnel are authorized to permanently fill the Labor Categories of the senior guard, guard and security screener.
5. In charge of on-site supervision of large groups of guards or specific sectors or functions of the guard program for the site or collection of sites (complex) to which the SS is assigned.
Qualifications
1. U.S. Citizen - must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Level Security Clearance
2. Six (6) years of military service as an Officer or Senior NCO (E-6 or above), OR six years of similar senior police/local guard force supervisory experience
3. Experience and/or service shall include physical security, access control and force protection, and must be similar in complexity and scope to the specific requirements of the Task Order.
